My day Wednesday

Well as you can see below my day started out well but then - well we had a disaster at dinner. My husband does most the dinner cooking. He gets home usually 3-4pm every day. I don't get home until about 6:30pm (and I leave before him in the am -- jealous! ha) Plus he LOVES to cook! He has been trying to cook more healthy but sometimes he just doesn't -- like last night. He was making fried chicken strips with a new recipe for the breading...he wanted me taste one that he just finished cooking -- and OMG it tasted like some sort of cleaning product, I said did you put Ajax on this?? HA He said no there is baking powder mixed in with the flour. He said it can't be that bad...he tasted it and immediately spit it out -- then my stepdaughter said oh well I bet if you dip it in ranch it won't be that bad....so next thing I know she's over the sink spitting it out too! HA HA!! I looked at the recipe and it was 1tsp baking power to 1 CUP of flour. Well he used prob 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup baking powder! ha So a trip to KFC to get some chicken happend!! We ate our sides we made at home with the chicken!! But a funny story to always remember -- we all were laughing like crazy about this!

One problem I have is I never know what we are going to be having for dinner. I thought about starting my points at dinner -- but I just don't like that...I tried it and it feels odd to me. So I know I can manage by watching portion sizes and we usually have a veggie or/and salad at dinner and those are low points. Normally what he cooks isn't too bad...and I am going to start cooking more dinners to help bring some more healthy meals to the table. So going to work on that. Anyhow am going to be using Roni's table to track my food, I don't promise this every day on here but will try to do often! Thanks Roni for this, it's awesome!! Also she offers it using Twitter too! Which I'm taking advantage of as I can just text my food and I have a log!! Since last night I didn't enter food points when I texted it I can't use that table but did create this one using her table generator, check it out, it's cool!!

    Hey there. Everything thing looks good. Maybe you can talk the husband into making recipes you find from Roni or other WW people. My husband loves most of those dishes. And most recipes do not taste diet-like. My brother over at The Longest Road has a great recipe for some pork tenderloin...not really all that diet-like either. You can find the link on my page.
